With Jose Mourinho believed to be keen to splash the cash in the coming transfer window, the latest reports suggest that he wants to lure a £70 million rated Brazilian to Manchester United and make him one of the club's highest paid stars.

United have improved their form this season, and are currently 10 points better off than at the same stage in 2017/18 after beating Liverpool 2-1 in the North West Derby on Saturday.

However, the Red Devils still sit a whopping 13 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, and United's crosstown rivals could extend this gap to 16 points if they beat Stoke City on Monday night.

As a consequence, Mourinho is reportedly planning another massive transfer window, and has apparently identified Juventus left back Alex Sandro as one of his key targets.

According to the Daily Mirror, United are prepared to pay about £70 million for the 27-year-old, but Juventus will reportedly not let the Brazilian go without a fight.

The Manchester club is said to be prepared to double the player's current wages to £145 000 (R2.38 million) per week, which would make him one of the highest earners at the club.

I dont support this nyoso.... How can Morhinho want to buy defender with a forward price? To make things worse he is only 3 left to reach 30 years. Totally bad investment. It would've been understandable if he was below £40m.
