Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has named his best club teammates XI, one of whom is a former Real Madrid superstar.

The former England international represented the Reds Devils for 20 years, and made more than 700 appearances for the Manchester club.
During a recent interview with MUTV, Scholes was asked to pick his all-time United XI of teammates he played alongside, and he opted for a 4-3-3 formation.
The former midfielder selected Peter Schmeichel between the sticks ahead of Netherlands international Edwin van der Sar. Both goalkeepers won a number of Premier League titles with the club, and also lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy with United too.
In defence, Scholes went with four defenders, but, surprisingly for some, left out Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra. The Englishman went with Jaap Stam and Nemanja Matic at centre-back, while Gary Neville and Denis Irwin were picked on the flanks.
The 43-year-old did not include himself in his three-man midfield, but instead opted for David Beckham, former United captain Roy Keane and Wales manager Ryan Giggs.

Up front, the ex-playmaker went with Los Blancos' top goalscorer ever in Cristiano Ronaldo, United's record scorer Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
