Guardiola's men have endured a difficult start to the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, having won just three of their seven matches so far.
This has led to reports that City could be eyeing reinforcements in the January transfer window and at the end of the season, as well as suggestions that a few players could exit the club in the near future.
According to 90min, the Citizens believe their all-time record goalscorer Sergio Aguero will extend his stay beyond 2021, but have begun to imagine a future without the Argentina international.
It is claimed the board is reportedly considering deals for both Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland, with the latter's father having represented City during his playing career.
Aguero has been sidelined for much of the campaign due to injury, while Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus has also had fitness issues, seemingly leading to Guardiola and those above him to search for solutions.
The Daily Star has also reported that Aston Villa's Jack Grealish is another transfer target, as is his club colleague Douglas Luiz, whom City reportedly have a buy-back clause on following his sale from the Citizens in 2019.
However, some of the team's stars could soon make their way through the Etihad's exit doors. Click through the gallery above to see some players the Manchester club could sign and sell in the next couple of windows!
