Manchester City will reportedly announce the signing of a Brazilian player "in the coming days", with the midfielder said to have passed a medical.

Manager Pep Guardiola is expected to splash the cash in the coming window after the Court of Arbitration for Sport cleared City to take part in the UEFA Champions League next season.
One of the Manchester club's first completed deals could be the transfer of Diego Rosa after the 17-year-old agreed to a five-year-deal, according to Brazilian outlet Zero Hora and cited by Sport Witness.
The Gremio player skipped training at the beginning of the week, and is believed to be set to sign a contract with the Citizens "in the coming days".

Rosa, though, is likely to only join City in January because he turns 18 in October.
It is claimed the player will initially be loaned out to Belgian side Lommel, with the Premier League club paying €10 million (R193 million) for his services in a deal that could rise to €24 million (R464 million) after add-ons.

Rosa was part of the Brazil U17 squad that won the U17 FIFA World Cup in 2019, scoring twice and assisting another goal in five appearances at the tournament.
