'The Citizens have confirmed that striker Lukas Nmecha will join Bundesliga outfit VFL Wolfsburg on loan for the 2019/2020 season.
Nmecha, who was on loan at Preston last season was on the club's recent pre-season tour of Asia and managed to find the back of the net in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
The 20-year-old is looking forward to compete in the German top flight this season, which is also his country of birth.
"It has been my goal to play in the Bundesliga for quite some time and thus to be able to play in my country of birth,” Nmecha told Wolfsburg’s website.
“I am all the more pleased that a move to Wolfsburg has now worked out, because I have all that's required here to develop myself at the highest level in the best possible way and fully exploit my potential.”
