Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City made several signings in the latest transfer window, but how many of them are in the club’s list of 10 most expensive signings in history?

The new list of City’s costliest captures of all time contains three players purchased in this transfer window, with the oldest deal in the gallery being Robinho’s 2009 move from Real Madrid for £36m (R603 million).
Fernandinho’s arrival in 2014 for £36m (R603 million) is the cheapest of the deals in the 10-man list, followed by the aforementioned Robinho and Nicolas Otamendi, who joined the Premier League from Valencia in 2015 for a fee said to have been around £40.14m (R670 million).
Seventh on the list is Leroy Sane’s move for £45m (R754 million) from Schalke at the start of last season, with the German being followed by Bernardo Silva who signed for £45m (R754 million) in this window, as well as Kyle Walker, who City paid Tottenham Hotspur £45.9m (R769 million).
The club’s fourth most expensive signing ever is John Stones for £50.04m (R837 million), followed by Benjamin Mendy for £51.75m (R854 million) and Raheem Sterling for £56.25m (R938 million).
Kevin de Bruyne remains the Citizens’ most costly coupe of all time, with the Belgian signing from Wolfsburg in 2016 for a fee of £66.6m (R1.1 billion).
