Following recent reports linking Pep Guardiola with Juventus, a Manchester City board member has responded to the shock rumours.
Since Massimiliano Allegri's imminent departure from Juve was announced last week, Guardiola's name has been thrown around as someone who could replace the Italian in Turin.
A member of City's hierarchy, Alberto Galassi, has now addressed the rumours linking the former FC Barcelona ad Bayern Munich boss with the Italian champions, insisting the reports are false.
"Guardiola doesn't want to leave Manchester City," he told Sky Italia.
"Today I spoke with Pavel Nedved (Juventus vice-chairman) and we laughed about it. Guardiola is angry about these stories.
"It's ridiculous, it's fake news!"
The manager himself has denied he will leave City ahead of next season.
