Overall, four players have already departed Jurgen Klopp's side, namely: Lallana, who has joined Brighton & Hove Albion on a free transfer, Lovren, who was sold to Zenit St. Petersburg, Pedro Chirivella, who moved to Nantes and Nathaniel Clyne, who is yet to find a new club.
However, the Reds could still see more players go through the exit door in attempt to generate some funds to sign new players, according to The Sun.
Klopp has continuously highlighted that his club cannot spend big in this window due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, which also saw them drop out of the race to sign Timo Werner, who joined Chelsea instead.
One of the first names on the club's exit list is Xherdan Shaqiri, the Swiss winger who featured in only seven Premier League games this season. The 28-year-old joined the club for a cut-price fee ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, but it seems his time at Anfield is up.
Another player who could leave to generate some funds is Divock Origi, despite the player having become a cult hero of sorts following some important goals he has scored for the Reds. He scored in the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League final, as well as twice in the sensational 4-0 home victory over FC Barcelona in the semi-final, but still remains a back-up option for Klopp's favoured front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
While Shaqiri and Origi were part of the club's first-team squad in 2019/20, several others were loaned out for the past campaign and the club could look to offload them permanently.
The likes of Loris Karius and Harry Wilson could generate a decent fee after their loans with Besiktas and AFC Bournemouth, respectively – you can see all seven players who could soon leave the Premier League champions in the gallery above!
