After Mohamed Salah dropped the bombshell last month that he could perhaps play for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona one day, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has now, for the first time, commented on the speculation.

The Egypt superstar admitted in December that he could join one of the two LaLiga giants one day, before recently adding that his future is in his current club's hands.
While many believe Salah's comments might be a ploy to get a better contract at Anfield, Klopp has downplayed the talk.
"It is a normal thing in the world of football," he said, as per the Daily Mirror.
"Mo didn't make a speech. It's not that we go out and talk about things that we think are important. It's pretty rare that happens.
"We get asked questions and we answer – that is the end of the story. But it always sounds like we started the conversation.
"In Mo's case, it is not like that. I don't think it will distract this season."

Meanwhile, The Athletic journalist James Pearce has claimed that Liverpool are in no hurry to extend Salah's contract, which only expires in 2023.
They do not expect the Egyptian winger to push for a move away after the current campaign, and seemingly have no intention of selling him either.
