2017/18 UEFA Champions League runners-up Liverpool are reportedly linked with yet another Brazilian star, one who is part of his country's 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.
Salah Breaks Silence On Ramos Challenge
According to Brazilian publication Terra, the Reds are looking to offer Roma £57 million (R1 billion) for goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
The 25-year-old is rumoured to be the English club's second-choice shot-stopper for this transfer window, with the likelihood of them signing Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak seemingly slim.
Alisson, who is also apparently being closely monitored by Arsenal and Real Madrid, is currently his national side's No. 1, keeping the likes of Manchester City's Ederson on the bench for now.
The Serie A star recently stated that he is aware of the interest being shown in him, and insisted he would like his future to be decided before the World Cup gets underway
"Let's see if something happens this week," Alisson said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"I hope it will be resolved. Yes, before the World Cup. That's what I want, to be honest."
Ramos Breaks Silence On Salah Injury, Makes Weird Claim
It is believed that Roma will demand a fee of £70 million (R1.23 billion) from Liverpool for their prized asset in the hope this will be enough to scare off the Merseyside club.
