It has been claimed that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all battling it out to sign an African international currently plying his trade for Brighton & Hove Albion.
'I Called Salah, He Is Not Happy In Liverpool'
According to the Daily Express, the Red Devils have joined the Premier League champions and Mikel Arteta's Gunners in targeting Brighton's Yves Bissouma.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form so far this season, in what is his third campaign in England following his move from Lille in July 2018.
Despite scoring just one goal to date in the 2020/21 campaign, Bissouma has been hailed for his excellent work in midfield, in particular his ball-carrying from deep and ability to get out of tight situations.
The midfielder was born in Ivory Coast, but has represented Mali on the international stage since 2015, and has made 13 appearances across all platforms for the African nation to date.
Bissouma is valued at €13 million (R198 million), according to Transfermarkt, but Brighton could reportedly demand €30 million (R542 million) for his signature.
Spanish publication Defensa-Central claim Real Madrid are also keeping a close watch on the African international.
