Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hit back at Egypt head coach Javier Aguirre, who claimed Mohamed Salah should consider leaving if he fails to win a trophy.
Salah recently signed a new an improved deal with the Reds earlier this season, killing any rumours of a move to Real Madrid.
Aguirre recently suggested that his star forward should leave Anfield if the club don't land trophies in the next two seasons, something which did not sit well with Klopp.
"So I try to be nice, eh?" Klopp joked. "If he [Aguirre] doesn't win a title in the next two years he has to move for sure.
"I don't know why people say that, but it's the world of media, someone in Egypt writes it and I get confronted with it. I don't agree but it's a free world and he can say whatever he wants.
"I shouldn't have made any comments on it so maybe we can delete what I said a minute ago?"
