Kenyan Star Linked With Jose Mourinho's Manchester United
A Kenyan star is reportedly on the radar of Jose Mourinho's Manchester United and one other Premier League club.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Red Devils are looking at the possibility of signing Victor Wanyama from Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Southampton and Celtic midfielder, who has struggled with injury this season, still has three years left on his current contract, and it seems unlikely that the London club would want to part ways with the African star just yet.
The 26-year-old was previously considered an important member of the Spurs squad, and some believe that manager Mauricio Pochettino still regards him as one of his most crucial players.
Mourinho, though, is looking to bolster his midfield options for next season, and is apparently a big admirer of Wanyama, who has been linked with the Old Trafford club before.
The Red Devils are losing Michael Carrick's playing services at the end of this season, and there are reports that Marouane Fellaini could also be off.
Wanyama has been eased back into the playing fold by Pochettino in recent weeks, and we are likely going to see more of him in the back-end of the season.
The Kenya international, who has also been linked with Liverpool, has made 15 appearances for the North London side so far this campaign, scoring one goal along the way.
