N'Golo Kante has returned to team training with Chelsea after health concerns over the coronavirus pandemic saw him being granted compassionate leave.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner felt uncertain regarding his health and safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic and thus decided not to join up with his teammates for group training, with the blessing of his manager.
However, the soft-spoken ball-winner arrived at the Blues' training ground in Cobham on Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail, providing a boost for Frank Lampard's squad with his return.
The 29-year-old, together with the rest of his teammates, participated in a light training session that included some passing drills, followed by a practice match, during which he found the back of the net.

With his contract set to expire in 2023, rumours around the former Leicester City man's future in the English top flight continue to abound as the west London outfit is reportedly set for a squad revamp of sorts at the end of the season.
