The Reds went into their 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur without Fabinho, who had been ruled out due to injury, and instead had to field the returning Jordan Henderson at centre-back.
Then, at half-time, Joel Matip had to come off due to an injury, which Klopp later confirmed looked "serious", and was replaced by 23-year-old Nat Phillips.
The transfer window slams shut on Monday, 1 February, and when asked if defensive reinforcements would now be required, the German tactician opened up on the situation, saying that they would only go for the right player.
"You can imagine that we think about everything," Klopp answered, according to Sky Sports.
"Of course, we thought the whole time, we think the whole time, it's about doing the right thing, I'm not picky or whatever, but we need to find the right player.
