Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has broken his silence on the heated argument with Chelsea's Frank Lampard on Wednesday.
Following a free-kick given to the Reds for a foul on Sadio Mane in the first half, Lampard expressed his disappointment at the decision before he was seen arguing with the Reds bench.
Reports say Lampard was mainly talking to Klopp's assistant Pep Lijnder, but Reds manager was not happy with the Blues manager continuing to talk after the game.
"You cannot hit me with something like that," Klopp said, as per the Mirror.
"We are not arrogant. Frank was in competitive mood, I respect that. Say what you want in that situation, pure emotion, he came to win.
"But what he has to learn is speaking about that after the game when the whistle has gone is not okay. Final whistle, as a real sportsperson, close the book and he didn't do that and that is what I don't like, honestly.
"I only speak now because he spoke afterwards."
