Two Premier League clubs have reportedly made Paris Saint-Germain star Julian Draxler their top target in the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in the Germany international, who may be allowed to leave the Ligue 1 side on loan.
PSG are believed to have a FIFA Financial Fair Play burden hanging over their heads as they need to show a profit by the end of this season.
The Paris club paid a world record fee of £198 million (R3.64 billion) for Neymar in August, and are expected to pay Monaco £166 million (R3.05 billion) to turn Kylian Mbappe's loan into a permanent move.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is said to be a long-term admirer of Draxler, and although he has missed out on securing his services before, he apparently now feels that this could be the perfect time to land the former Schalke player.
The London side also sees the 24-year-old as a direct replacement for Chile international Alexis Sanchez, who will become a free agent at the end of this campaign, but could move on in January already.
Liverpool, who are also said to be keen on Draxler, may turn their attention to the German if they lose Philippe Coutinho to FC Barcelona.
