The Swede joined the club on a free transfer during the off-season, after his contract with French giants Paris Saint-Germain had expired.
It was first speculated that Ibrahimovic would stay with the Red Devils for just one season, but Mourinho has revealed he could be around longer than that.
"I see him happy, I ask him every day, because I know how important it is for a family guy like he is," the Portuguese tactician said, according to the Daily Star.
"I ask every day about wife, kids, house, integration, and he is happy, everybody is happy, his motivation is happy.
"I have no doubt that he will be here for two years."
