Jose Mourinho Wants Ex-Manchester United Star Back At Old Trafford

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is said to be considering a move for a player who previously served the Red Devils’ first team for seven years.

Salah Breaks African UCL Record

According to the Metro, the Portuguese is interested in luring 30-year-old West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans back to United.

In recent times, the centre-back has impressed even the likes of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, who was reportedly after the player’s signature in the January transfer window.

The Northern Ireland international is likely to get relegated with his club this season, and has been tipped to play for another Premier League side in the next campaign.

Despite West Brom valuing Evans around £25 million (R433 million), there is reportedly a clause in his contract that means he can leave the club for just £3 million (R52 million), if the Baggies do get relegated.

Mourinho is said to be looking to bring in a centre-back for next season, and perhaps feels Evans would be a bargain signing, given his experience at the highest level.

Before leaving United in 2015 under Louis van Gaal, Evans represented the Red Devils on 198 occasions.

We hv the best center backs in Bailey n Jones, but they are too fragile they hardly play 3 consecutive matches without getting injured then we are left with cow Smalling n cow Lindelof , Jonny Evance will be a great signing than these two cows.

@Mwazi, what the are you talking about ? Some people really don't watch football. Sanchez is playing week in week out, and has been in good form recently.
