Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly identified which player he would like to bring to the Red Devils.

Henry: There Is Only One World Class Striker In The EPL

According to The Sun, Mourinho is interested in luring Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan to the Red Devils, with Michael Carrick likely to retire after this season.

The 29-year-old has been linked with United many times in the past, and there have been rumours that he would be open to the move.

It is believed that Mourinho sent scouts to watch the player in his UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid two weeks ago.

The Portuguese manager is reportedly confident that Nainggolan can be the ideal replacement for Carrick, who joined United back in 2006.

Nainggolan, a Belgian international, has played 166 matches for Roma, scoring 28 goals and assisting a further 20 strikes.
