A Manchester United star wants to leave the Old Trafford club in this transfer window, according to his agent, and manager Jose Mourinho has now had his say on the matter.
France international Anthony Martial, who did not make his country's 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning squad, has been linked with a move away from the English giants since last season.
The 22-year-old, who is said to be on the lookout for regular first-team football elsewhere, has found chances limited since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez at the club in January, and when Mourinho was asked recently if he would allow the forward to leave before the upcoming campaign, he remained coy.
"I would like to be in Los Angeles now, and I am in San Jose," the Portuguese tactician said, as quoted by FourFourTwo.
"You cannot do whatever you want in life, I would love to arrive in Los Angeles, to train in Los Angeles and play all my five matches in Los Angeles, and then don't travel, don't change hotel, and then go back to Manchester.
"I would like to play against Leicester (City) on Sunday but I have to play on Friday, so you do not always get in life what you want."
Reports coming out of England suggest that Martial has attracted interest from Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks.
