Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has commented on Anthony Martial's decision to leave the Red Devils' pre-season tour early, following rumours he is unhappy with the Frenchman's action.
The 22-year-old left United's camp earlier this week to be with his pregnant partner, which was believed to have frustrated Mourinho.
However, the Portuguese tactician has now claimed that nobody can stop someone leaving for such a reason.
"I found out that Martial was going to Paris when he told me," he said, according to Manchester Evening News.
"Was two or three days ago.
"When it is personal reasons, everyone analyses that the way they think is the correct way and when a man is going to be a father, in this case, it's the second time he is going to be a father, and he decides is very important for him to go, nobody has the right to stop him to go."
Recent reports have linked Martial with a move away from United, with clubs such as Juventus and Real Madrid said to be chasing his signature.
