With former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly looking to strengthen his side in January, the Tottenham Hotspur manager has now been linked with a shock signing.
It has been reported that the Portuguese tactician has made signing midfielder Marouane Fellaini a priority in the upcoming transfer window.
According to Les Sports, Mourinho wants to bring his former United star back to the Premier League as he seeks to add to his new team in January.
Under the ex-Red Devils boss, Fellaini became a first-team regular at Old Trafford, but his playing time became limited once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over in December 2018, which led to his exit in February this year.

The Belgian midfielder currently plays for Shandong Luneng in the Chinese Super League, and it remains to be seen whether or not he would be interested in returning to England, where he has previously represented United and Everton.
Over the years, however, Mourinho has become known for his tight bond with certain players, and after building a good relationship with Fellaini in Manchester, it seems he feels the player would be a good addition to his Spurs side.
The 32-year-old played 89 matches under the Portuguese tactician at United, contributing to 16 goals along the way.
