After receiving multiple offers from interested clubs, Jose Mourinho has landed a new role in the football industry.
The Portuguese tactician was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month, but insisted he does not need a break from the game.
According to reports, he has been approached by Celtic, AS Roma and Valencia, but has now joined talkSPORT in a punditry role for the upcoming UEFA European Championship.
"Hello to everyone at talkSPORT, this is Jose Mourinho. Delighted to say I will be joining the talkSPORT team for the Euros this summer," he announced on the breakfast radio show, which is hosted by Alan Brazil.
"I will be joining the likes of Laura Woods, Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil to give my views on all of the action.
"Good luck to England, good luck to Scotland, and, of course, good luck to Portugal."
Presenter Brazil hinted at Mourinho's arrival on Thursday night with a cryptic tweet that was captioned: "We've got something 'special' for you. Join us at 8am."
It was also announced that Mourinho has joined The Sun as an expert columnist for the Euros as part of the deal.
This is not the first time the former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United boss has worked as a pundit – he had a similar role at beIN SPORTS before he took charge of Spurs.
