Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has hit out at the English media for showing him "no respect".
The Blues was speaking ahead of his side's tie against West Ham United, however he decided to talk about non-football matters.
Chelsea have endured a tough start to the 2015/2016 season, after they had lifted their fourth Premier League title last season.
However, the Portuguese has now explained why his relationship with the media has changed.
"You are not going to get any funny headlines out of me. I treat you the same way your bosses treat me: no respect. No respect," Mourinho told reporters
“I am not speaking about football. Football I will expect every type of critic, even the stupid ones. [But] private life and stupid things that you bring to the light...
“I don’t like it, so we go to a different level of professional relations.”
The defending champions have only picked up one win in their last five matches in all competitions and find themselves in 12th position.
