Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has explained why he feels a certain surprise team can win the 2018 FIFA World Cup over the likes of France, Brazil and Germany.
The Red Devils boss, who has managed in England for the majority of his career so far, believes the Three Lions can lift the World Cup this year due to the strength of the Premier League, where most of their players ply their trade.
"They (England) have a good group of young but experienced players," Mourinho said, according to Reuters.
"All of them play in the most competitive competition in the world, the Premier League, all of them playing for the best teams with experience of playing in the Champions League, which is a high level of football, obviously.
"Yes, I think they can do it."
England are not seen as one of the favourites ahead of the tournament, with the likes of France, Germany, Brazil and Spain being holders of that tag.
The Englishmen's first match of the World Cup kicks off on 18 June, when they take on Tunisia.
