Mourinho Expects Man Utd Star To Leave
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he expects this star to leave the club at the end of the season.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has struggled with injury this season and has not featured since United's draw with Burnley on boxing day.
The Swede's contract is set run out at the end of the season, and Mourinho thinks this will be the striker's last season at Old Trafford.
"For Zlatan, we all think it's his last season at Manchester United," Mourinho said. "And will be a very personal decision for him to play or to stop," Mourinho was quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News.
"I think he won the right of choosing his life, his future, such an amazing player and amazing career that only that awful injury in the wrong moment broke a fantastic couple of seasons he could and should have with us this season. Really difficult for him.
"He's not injured, does he feel totally happy, does he feel totally ready and does he feel totally convinced that he's in conditions to help the team in this moment? No. But he's such an honest guy and such a champion he only wants to be back with that feeling of I'm totally ready for it.
"So he's working hard and hopefully his evolution brings him to that level he wants to have a positive answer."
