It is being reported that the Swede is interested into taking his career to LA Galaxy in the Major League Soccer - a move that Mourinho insists he will not block if it is indeed the player’s wish.

“Zlatan is in the last year of his contract, so if – and I say if if, if - that is true and Zlatan wants a future in another club, another country, we are here to help and create conditions for that to happen, not to make his life difficult,” he told The Mirror.

“But the last thing Zlatan told me he was to recover totally and help the team. That was the last thing I heard from him.”

The 36-year-old has played just seven times this season due to the injury he sustained in the 2016/17 campaign.
