Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly identified a €30 million-rated African star as one of the club's main transfer targets for next season.
According to RMC Sport, the Portuguese boss is interested in luring Napoli and Algeria left back Faouzi Ghoulam to Old Trafford.
It has been claimed that United could bid €30 million (R435 million) for the player, who Mourinho reportedly wants to replace Shaw.
Many clubs across Europe, including Chelsea and Manchester City, have previously shown interest in the Serie A star.
However, Napoli might value Ghoulam, whose current contract expires in 2022, at a higher number than what United are said to be prepared to offer.
Despite the player featuring only 17 times this season due to injury, the 27-year-old has been a regular fixture at Napoli since his arrival at the club in 2014.
The Algeria international has played 153 times across all competitions for the club so far, assisting an impressive 25 times from fullback.
