It’s being reported that Liverpool are ready to sign Germany midfielder Sami Khedira at the end of the season, as a replacement for LA Galaxy-bound Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool are reportedly scouting the globe looking for a world-class midfielder to replace Steven Gerrard, who is off the MLS at the end of this season.
Khedira is set to become a free agent at the end of the current campaign and has already turned down a contract extension from Real Madrid, but it’s going to be a battle for Liverpool to land him, as there is already a lot of interest in the player.
Schalke, Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with Khedira in the past, but reports suggest that no offers have been made and Liverpool might be the first to strike.
Khedira has made 16 appearances for Real Madrid this season, but has not scored or assisted any goals.
