News breaking in England suggests that Harry Kane has not turned up to training at Tottenham Hotspur amid rumours Manchester City want to sign him.

Report: Man City Star Requests To Leave

According to Sky Sports, the 28-year-old did not arrive for first-team training at Spurs on Monday morning, despite being due to return following a short vacation. 

It has been claimed the England captain believes he has a gentlemen's agreement to leave the club in this transfer window, which the Lilywhites dispute. 

Kane is reportedly desperate to leave his boyhood team ahead of the coming season as he wants to play UEFA Champions League football and compete for the biggest club trophies. 

It is has been said that he would cost upwards of £100 million (R2 billion), although Spurs are reluctant to let the striker depart. 

Kane has scored 221 goals in 336 matches for the London side since his senior debut, but is yet to win silverware with the club.
