Pogba joined the Red Devils for a world record fee before the 2016-2017 season, although he has been criticised for some of performances this season.
However, Robert Pires, a former Arsenal and France international, believes Pogba has the potential to become one of the best in the world.
“To call Paul Pogba a flop and overrated is a lazy statement.” Pires told Bwin .
“I think he's just getting started and will only get better. People are still forgetting he's a young player, he's only 24, so United fans need to be patient with him.
"It's not Pogba's fault that Manchester United spent the money they did on him.
"He's got so much potential to be the best player in the world in a few years.”
