Former Man Utd Manager Undergoes Surgery

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson underwent surgery for a brain haemorrhage.

 
Reports flooded in on Saturday evening that Ferguson had been rushed and was in a serious condition.
 
However, the Red Devils have since confirmed that 76-year-old underwent surgery and is now recovering in hospital.
 
A statement from the club read,"Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone surgery today for a brain haemorrhage. The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to aid his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter.
 
Everyone at Manchester United sends our very best wishes."
