The amount of money incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will be allowed to spend on transfers has reportedly been revealed.
Following Ajax Amsterdam's final game of the season last weekend, Ten Hag said he would be starting his tenure at the Red Devils earlier than expected due to the workload in front of him.
It has been widely reported that the 52-year-old Dutch tactician is determined to work closely with the club to sort out squad matters, such as potential outgoing and incoming transfers, as soon as possible.
Ten Hag is also said to be aiming to have United players back from their end-of-campaign holiday two weeks earlier than usual so as to get more time to implement his ideas.
A number of talented stars around Europe are believed to be on his transfer radar, including three Ajax players in the form of Lisandro Martinez, Antony and Jurrien Timber.
With ex-Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong another familiar player Ten Hag could be hoping to reunite with, Dutch journalist Mike Verweij has claimed the tactician has been handed a starting budget of €140 million (R2.3 billion) for new recruitments.
This could increase should the Red Devils confirm any more first-team departures in the coming weeks.
