Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the only goal of the game to hand Swansea City a 1-0 win over Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek had the game's first real opening of the game, as he forced Swansea shot-stopper Lukasz Fabianski into a fine save from close range in the sixth minute.
The Blues were slowly getting into the game when in the 13th minute Oscar was set-up by Cesc Fabregas at the edge of the right side of the box but his shot missed narrowly to the left.
Asmir Begovic was called upon in the 17th minute, as the Blues shot-stopper produced a fine save to keep out Sigurdsson's close range effort.
However, Sigurdsson was not to be denied in the 25th minute, as he opened the scoring for Swansea with a with a fine left-footed that sailed into the bottom corner, 1-0.
The Swans continued to pile on the pressure and they went close in the 37th minute, as Andre Ayew hit a left-footed shot from outside the box that forced Begovic into a fine low save.
Chelsea squandered a golden chance to level matters in the 55th minute when Pedro teed up Alexandre Pato, who managed to flick his effort inches wide of the upright from six-yards out.
On the hour mark, Ghanaian Andre Ayew hit a left footed shot from outside the box but missed narrowly to the right.
The hosts then squandered another chance to extend their lead after 70 minutes, as Sigurdsson did well to cross for Jefferson Montero, who headed over the crossbar from point-blank range.
Radamel Falcao nearly brought Chelsea level in the 86th minute but his left-footed strike from close range was saved by Fabianski, as the Swans held on for the three points.
