English Premier League

Result: Hull City 1-4 Arsenal

Date: 17 September 2016

Venue: KCOM Stadium

Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez were among the goals for Arsenal, as they defeated 10-man Hull City 4-1 at the KCOM Stadium.

After a slow start, the Gunners eventually broke the deadlock in the 17th minute when Alex Iwobi volleyed home from close range.

Alexis Sanchez stepped up to take the spot-kick, but had his effort saved by Jakupovic, as the score remained 1-0.

Hull were awarded a penalty in the 78th minute when substitute Mbokani was brought down by Petr Cech. Robert Snodgrass stepped up made no mistake from the spot, 2-1.

However, Arsenal restored their two-goal lead in the 83rd minute, as Sanchez eliminated one challenge before rifling the ball into the top corner.

Granit Xhaka rounded off the scoring in stoppage time with a superb long range effort, as the Gunners rise up to second spot in the Premier League table.
