Crystal Palace put five goals past Leicester City, while there were also wins for Everton and Southampton in Saturday's Premier League action.
Crystal Palace 5-0 Leicester City
Crystal Palace edged closer to securing top-flight status with an emphatic 5-0 win over 10-man Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
Wilfried Zaha got the opener for the Eagles in the 17th minute and James McArthur doubled the lead in the 38th minute.
The Foxes suffered a blow four minutes before the hour as Marc Albrighton was red-carded.
This gave way for Palace to net three late goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek nine minutes before time, Patrick van Aanholt six minutes before time and Christian Benteke in the last minute through a penalty.
Southampton 2-1 Bournemouth
Southampton kept their dream of survival alive with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon thanks to a brace by Dusan Tadic.
Tadic sent the Saints ahead in the 25th minute before Joshua King got the equaliser for the Cherries a minute after the break.
However, Tadic got his brace six minutes before the hour to hand the Saints three vital points.
Newcastle United 0-1 West Bromwich Albion
