African Stars Fire Leicester To Three Points

Leicester City ended their four-game winless run in the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
 
Riyad Mahrez handed the Foxes the opening goal in the 53rd minute, before Islam Slimani doubled the lead with a clinical finish.
 
The Foxes managed bag a third goal in stoppage time when an un-marked Marc Albrighton turned home Demarai Gray's deflected cross.
 
Stoke City 0-1  Newcastle United
 
Newcastle returned to winning ways in the English top flight after securing a 1-0 win away to Stoke City on Monday evening.
 
The game's only goal arrived in the 73rd minute courtesy of a close range strike from Ayoze Perez.

Brighton 2-2 Bournemouth 

Brighton and Bournemouth shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 in the first game of the day.

Anthony Kockaert handed the hosts the lead with a neat finish from a tight angle. The Cherries managed to level matters in the 33rd minute when Sam Cook rose well to send a header past Matt Ryan.

Three minutes into the second half, Glen Murray restored Brighton's with a composed strike against his former side. However, Bournemouth secured a point thanks to a strike from Callum Wilson in the 79th minute.
