English Premier League Starting XI: Manchester City v Manchester United 07 April 2018

English Premier League

Teams: Manchester City v Manchester United

Date: 07 April 2018

Venue: Etihad

Manchester City will look to wrap up the Premier League title when  they host cross-town rivals Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium this evening.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h30.

The Citizens only need three points to secure their third Premier League title and the first under Pep Guardiola.

City come into the clash wounded after they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

United, meanwhile, have had all week to prepare for the encounter as they were eliminated in the Round of 16 in the European Cup.

Jose Mourinho's men come into the clash on the back of a 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Swansea City last weekend.

In head-to-head statistics, the two sides have met on 151 occasions, with the Red Devils boasting 59 wins compared to City's 45, while 47 matches have ended in draws.

Here's how the teams line up:

Manchester City: Ederson, Danilo, Kompany, Otamendi, Delph, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Bernardo, Silva, Sane, Sterling.

Manchester United: De Gea, Young, Bailly, Smalling, Valencia, Lingard, Matic, Pogba, Herrera, Sanchez, Lukaku.

Who do you think will come out on top in today's clash? Have your say in the comment section below.

As a United supporter I'm happy with a victory but honestly guys City should have wrapped up the game in the first half. They were all over us as usual but cows like Sterling were simply useless. De Gea's save of Aguero head was just outstanding. Congratulations to United but I'm still not convinced if Mourinho is the guy to take us to GGMU days again. Peace!

I always said Matic, Pagba and Herrera if they are played together in a 4-3-3 system Man U would not be so far back of Man City. But Mo6always prefer this funny system of 4-2-3-1 and it is boring
