English Premier League
Result: Everton 0-3 Chelsea
Date: 30 April 2017
Venue: Goodison Park
Chelsea inched closer to securing the English Premier League title, after recording a 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
Antonio Conte only made one change from their previous clash, as Pedro Rodriguez came in for Cesc Fabregas.
The Blues had the chance to take the lead in the 11th minute, as Eden Hazard rounded Maarten Stekelenburg but could only fire into the side-netting from a tight angle.
Chelsea shaded the possession statistics but struggled to create clear-cut chances, while Everton were holding their own in the middle of the park.
The visitors should have broken the deadlock in the 27th minute but Diego Costa somehow fired over the crossbar from close range with only Stekelenburg to beat.
That proved to be the final chance of the first half, as both sides struggled to maintain possession of the ball, which led to a sloppy affair.
After a quiet start to the second half, Chelsea eventually broke the deadlock in the 66th minuteas Pedro found the back of the net with a superb curling effort from 20-yards out.
Ronald Koeman responded by introducing Kevin Mirallas and Kone in the 75th minute, as they looked for a way back in the clash.
However, The Blues doubled the lead five minutes later as Gary Cahill bundled the ball home, after Hazard's shot was saved by Stekelenburg.
Willian rounded off the scoring in the 86th minute as Fabregas picked out the Brazilian winger, who fired home from 12-yards out, 3-0.
