Manchester United claimed a second successive Premier League victory with a 2-1 win over high-flying Watford on Saturday evening.
Watford went close to taking the lead after 15 minutes but David de Gea produced a superb save to deny Troy Deeney from the edge of the box.
Sanchez carved out a chance of his own after 30 minutes, but Watford shot-stopper Ben Foster was well positioned to keep out the Chilean's powerful effort.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 35th minute as Ashley Young's cross from the left was turned home by Romelu Lukaku. His third goal of the season.
The Hornest came out a much improved side in the second half, as the looked to trouble the United defence with their route one approach.
Th lead was doubled three minutes later as a well-worked corner ended with Chris Smalling controlling on his chest before volleying past Foster.
However, Watford pulled a goal back in the 65th minute as Andre Grey fired past De Gea following Doucoure's ball into the box.
Jose Mourinho responded by throwing on Anthony Martial for Jesse Lingard for the final 15 minutes as the visitors looked to restore their two-goal cushion.
The clash ended on a sour note for the Red Devils as Nemanja Matic was sent off for a second bookable offence, but his side managed to hold on for victory.
