Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil were among the goals for Arsenal, as they defeated Watford 3-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.
Arsene Wenger's charges were awarded a penalty after eight minutes when Nordin Amrabat fouled Alexis Sanchez in the box. Santi Cazorla stepped up and scored from the spot.
Watford started seeing more of the ball after the 20-minute mark and nearly opened the scoring but Petr Cech produced a fine save to keep out Koscielny's clearance, which look destined for an own goal.
Arsenal doubled their lead in the 39th minute when Sancez's scuffed effort managed to cross over the goal line, after some good work by Theo Walcott.
The Gunners managed to add a third goal on the stroke of halftime as Sanchez turned provider to pick out Ozil, who headed home from six-yards out.
Watford pulled a goal back in the 57th minute when the ball dropped to Roberto Pereyra, who fired into the far corner to mark his debut with a goal.
Arsenal suffered a blow after 70 minutes as Nacho Monreal was forced off with an injury. While, Watford introduced Nigerian striker Isaac Success as they looked for goals.
The Hornets pushed for another goal in the closing stages but were unable to bypass the Arsenal defence, as the visitors claimed their first win of the season.
