Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool were forced to settle for a point, after playing out a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
It was open affair in the opening 15 minutes, although Liverpool created the only clear-cut opening when Philippe Coutinho failed to beat Michel Vorm from six-yards out.
Spurs were dealt a blow after 27 minutes when full-back Kyle Walker picked up an injury and had to be replaced.
Both struggled to carve out chances as the half went on, but the Reds were awarded a penalty after 40 minutes. James Milner stepped up and made no mistake from 12-yards, 1-0.
The score remained 1-0 to Liverpool, as the sides entered the halftime break.
The visitors had the ball in the back of the net 10 minutes into the second half, but Adam Lallana was flagged for offside in the build-up to the goal.
Spurs eventually leveled matters after 70 minutes when Eric Dier's ball found Danny Rose, who volleyed home at the far post.
Both sides pushed for a winner in the closing stages, with Liverpool throwing on Daniel Sturridge, but neither could carve out a chance, as the game ended level.
