Manchester United got back to winning ways as they beat QPR 2-0 away from home in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
Rademel Falcao provided a moment of excitement in the 13th minute as he forced Robert Green into a superb save. The England keeper showed off his reflexes as he kept out Falcao's shot after Juan Mata picked out the forward.
At the other end of the pitch, David de Gea was called to action when Charlie Austin thumped a half-volley on goal. The Spanish gloveman was up to the task, making a sharp save.
Austin was yet again in the thick of the action as QPR threatened to score first. Joey Barton played the ball forward for the side's top scorer who hit a dipping half-volley that De Gea did well to keep out.
Falcao continued to needle the visitors as he forced Green into another top save in the 56th minute. Angel Di Maria sent in a lovely cross that Falcao pounced on with a headed effort on goal, but Green reacted quickly to keep his clean sheet in tact.
The Red Devils found a way through the QPR defence in the 58th minute as they opened the scoring. Wayne Rooney passed it on for Antonio Valencia who cut it back for Marouane Fellaini. The former Everton midfielder was unmarked and fired home.
The visitors secured the spoils in stoppage time as James Wilson netted their second goal. Di Maria ran at the QPR defence before offloading for Wilson who reacts swiftly to finish with aplomb.
