Date: 21 May 2017
Venue: Old Trafford
Paul Pogba was among the goals for Manchester United, as they recorded a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the final game of the season.
Jose Mourinho handed full debuts to Joel Pereira, Danny Mitchell, Scott McTominay and Josh Harrop.
It was one of the debutants who opened the scoring as Harrop fired home a fine effort after being played in by Paul Pogba.
Five minutes later, the lead was doubled as Pogba slid home to get his goal after some good work by Jesse Lingard.
The visitors nearly pulled a goal back in the 26th minute but Christian Benteke failed to make contact with the ball from six-yards out.
Jose Mourinho opted for a double change just before the break as Pogba and Lingard made way for Anthony Martial and Michael Carrick.
Palace nearly leveled matters 10 minutes into the second half when Wilfried Zaha picked out Christian Benteke, who sent a header against the crossbar.
Sam Allardyce made a double change after the hour as Bakary Sako and Sullay Kaikai were introduced as they looked for a way back into the game.
Palace nearly pulled a goal back in the 74th minute when Carrick's attempted clearance sailed just over his own crossbar.
Mourinho handed 16-year-old Angel Gomes his debut in the closing stages of the second half, as United saw out the closing stages with relative ease.
