Manchester City recorded their 16th successive win in the Premier League, by thrashing Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at the Etihad on Saturday evening.
City eventually broke the deadlock on 14 minutes, as Ilkay Gundogan got on the end of Leroy Sane's corner and powered home a header.
Sergio Aguero went close to doubling City's lead in the 24th minute, but his low strike from a distance was turned away by Hugo Lloris.
Spurs, meanwhile, were happy to sit back and soak up the pressure, with the hope of catching City on the counter.
In the 36th minute, Spurs nearly found an equaliser through Harry Kane, who sent a curling effort just wide of the upright.
10 minutes into the second half, City goalkeeper Ederson was called into action as he produced a stunning save to deny Kane from close range.
The Citizens opted for a change on 56 minutes, as Aguero made way for Gabriel as Pep Guardiola looked to freshen things up.
City doubled their lead on 70 minutes, as Kevin De Bruyne registered his name on the score-sheet with a thumping effort into the roof of the net, 2-0.
Five minutes later, City were awarded a penalty when De Bruyne was brought down. Jesus stepped up but hit the upright.
The home side eventually added a third goal 10 from time as Gundogan played in Leroy Sane, who unselfishly teed up Raheem Sterling for the simple finish, 3-0.
Sterling grabbed his second and City's fourth in the 90th minute, as Eric Dier's error allowed the winger to slip and slot into an empty net, 4-0.
Christian Eriksen managed to bag a consolation for Spurs in the third minute of stoppage time, with a fine low effort from 20-yards out.
