David Silva netted his 50th goal for Manchester City as the Premier League champions cruised to a 3-0 win over Fulham at the Etihad.
The champions broke the deadlock as early as the second minute, with the returning Leroy Sane finding the back of the net.
The Citizens nearly bagged a second goal after 14 minutes, but Raheem Sterling's shot was deflected onto the woodwork.
However, the hosts were not to be denied in the 21st minute when as Bernado Silva's cross found its way to David Silva, who poked home from close range for his 50th goal for the club.
Pep Guardiola's men were in full control, but despite their dominance, they struggled to bag a a couple more goals before the break.
Minutes into the second half, City bagged a third as Sergio Aguero broke into the box before picking out Sterling, who tapped home from point-blank range.
With the hosts comfortably leading, Guardiola withdrew Fabian Delph and Raheem Sterling for Illkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez for the final 15 minutes.
City managed to carve out a couple more chances but Gabriel Jesus failed to profit as the encounter ended 3-0.
