Sergio Aguero netted his second hat-trick in three games as Manchester City humiliated Chelsea with a 6-0 thumping to move top of the Premier League standings.
City got off to a blistering start as Benardo Silva's cross deflected into the path of Raheem Sterling, who rifled the ball into the back of the net.
It got better for the home side after 13 minutes when Aguero sent a superb strike into the top corner from 25-yards, making up for his early horror miss.
Five minutes later, the Citizens were three goals ahead as Aguero completed his brace with a finish from six-yards out after latching onto Ross Barkley's poor header.
The fourth goal arrived on 24 minutes with Ilkay Gundogan getting in on the act with a curling effort from the edge of the box.
The Blues could only carve out one clear-cut opening in the half as Gonzalo Higuain forced Ederson into a fine save with dipping volley from distance.
Ten minutes into the second half, City were awarded a penalty when Sterling was brought down in the box. Aguero stepped up and converted the spot-kick to complete his hat-trick.
Pep Guardiola opted to withdraw a couple of his stars for the final 25 minutes as Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne made way for Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez.
Sterling, who got the opening goal, rounded off the scoring with ten minutes remaining by turning home a cross from Oleksandr Zinchenko.
City now back to the top of the standings, while the Blues have dropped to sixth place after their goal difference took a significant dip.
