Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were among the goals for Liverpool, as they defeated Leicester City 4-1 at Anfield on Saturday evening.
The Reds broke the deadlock after 13 minutes as Roberto Firmino collected a pass from James Milner, before cutting inside and firing into the bottom corner.
Jurgen Klopp's charges doubled their advantage after 30 minutes, as Sadio Mane combined with Daniel Sturridge, before firing home from six-yards out.
The Premier League champions reduced the deficit just before the break when Lucas Leiva's poor back pass teed up Jamie Vardy for the simple tap-in.
Liverpool restored their lead 10 minutes into the second half, as Georginio Wijnaldum turned provider to tee up Adam Lallana, who rifled the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Vardy nearly bagged his second after 57 minutes, but Simon Mignolet produced a fine save to deny the England international from point-blank range.
Jurgen Klopp opted for a double change after 70 minutes as he introduced Philippe Coutinho and Kevin Stewart for Sturridge and Wijnaldum.
The Foxes pushed a for a way back into the contest, but were unable to carve out any clear-cut openings.
Liverpool rounded off the scoring in the 89th minute, as Mane turned provider to tee up Firmino for his second goal of the game.
