Manchester City Continue Flawless Start To Season

Manchester City continued their perfect start to the Permier League season with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Palace were under pressure in the seventh minute when Samir Nasri broke through the defence to go one-on-one with McCarthy, but the keeper didn't allow the Frenchman to beat him.
The Selhurst Park faithful felt hard done by in the 17th minute when they appeared to be denied a good shout for a penalty. Yohan Cabaye made it deep into the City area where he received a cross before seemingly being brought down by Fernandinho, but the referee waved the appeals away.
The Sky Blues lost their main threat in the 25th minute when Sergio Aguero had to be taken off after a heavy challenge from Scott Dann in the 18th minute. The Argentinian was replaced by big-money Summer signing Kevin de Bruyne.
The new City man made a swift impact as he played a couple of silky smooth through-balls before threatening with a powerful strike on the stroke of half-time.
Jesus Navas missed the best chance of the game in the 52nd minute when he was put through by De Bruyne, only to miss an open goal with his left boot.
Palace had one of their best chances of the game in the 70th minute when Souare powered down the left and crossed for Jason Puncheon to head on target but Joe Hart pulled off a fantastic save for City.
The decisive strike arrived in the 90th minute when youngster Kelechi Iheanacho pounced on the loose ball to find the back of the net for City, claiming three valuable points on the road after a tough game.
